Who ever wins the toss will go for bowling first. As chasing is an easy affair in the due pron weather. For India if they lose the toss, don’t lose the heart, all the trainings and strategy would help to pull them through.

India’s batting approach

We know team India for its deep batting lineup. While opening partners could not produce great starts is a concern. I think they will concentrate on not allowing early wickets. Well, there is always a debate about left hander. I picked Pant in this match thinking they need a good solid left hand batsmen in the middle and end.

If KL Rahul can fire a quick 50 runs, then we are off good start in the batting department. Allow the others to play their natural game, like Rohit have to mix his shots, nor fully aggressive or fully defensive, after all it is T20 game.

While Kohli needs to come to his self form of “Run Machine”, forgetting all the big, big numbers. And don’t forget SKY is at his prime and we are expecting some 360° show. Rest have to do their natural batting. So batting first or second this should be their strategy.

Aussie have a good pace attack, so I hope we can see some pull, hook, uppercuts, and some inside out shots today.

India’s bowling approach:

Australia’s player have played quite a lot of IPL matches and they very well know the conditions and all our blowers tactics. There are no surprise elements. Bumrah is back in the team that will bring in huge strength to the bowling side. While Bumrah, Bhuvi & Char can attack from pace end. Axar, Ashwin and Pandya can finish the rest.

Captain has a lot of options to mix and match the bowling options. Ashwin can deceive the batsmen with his carom ball and pick quick wickets. And we are well know for match up games. So these blowers can come in handy to attack Aussies batsmen.
