A helmet is essential for a batter. Things to consider while buying a cricket helmet

  • It has to fit the head, it should not be too loose are too tight. It has to be comfortable while wearing.
  • So don’t buy this online, visit a store and wear it and feel it to decide. Good Brands that you can buy are DSC and SG
  • After fastening the chin belt, shake your head. It should also shake along with your head. Shake both up and down and side to side to check.
  • When you through the helmet, your should look directly. Meaning if your vision has the cap part and the grill part then adjust to make sure you see through directly
  • Look for the chin belt and its locking mechanism, it has to fit on the chin correctly. Never wear it under your chin as it might lose the harness.
